Formatting and/or style guide alignment formats documents to match industry standards (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago) or creates/follows a custom style guide to ensure consistency in headings, captions, citations, references and layout.

9. Indexing

Indexing involves creating an alphabetical index of key terms, concepts and/or page numbers, and is essential for nonfiction books, textbooks or manuals.

10. Sensitivity Reading
